Tell me your favorite part

Of being pregnant! I'm of course so excited about having a baby that's a given. But what's your favorite part of the pregnancy experience? I feel it is so easy to b!tch about all of the struggles of pregnancy [I know I do at times!] that we miss out on some if the really cool fun stuff.

I love it when my belly gets firmer in areas where the baby is and feeling the baby kick. I also love talking and singing to my baby and seeing that my husband is getting so excited and seeing him falling in love in a completely new way.

I love feeling my baby move and I enjoy all of the compliments on how well I'm carrying.

Honestly a month ago my answer would've been pretty grumpy and just "not having a period. The end."

But I have a good feeling about February and the rest of this pregnancy.  Right now my favorite part is starting to feel more consistent kicks. And hearing people tell me I look great.  But I'm vain. :-D

Feeling him kick has been a definite favorite part. I also really love it when I see commercials or cards or show or ANYTHING directed at moms and I think "Hey, that'll be me soon!"

I love feeling baby kick. I love that baby kicks for Hubby's voice.

I love getting a break from heavy lifting. I love my niece being so excited to run and talk to her little cousin- greeting and talking to baby.

I love when the kicks and movements get really intense and noticeable from the outside. Although, that can sometimes be a really uncomfortable part, it's cool to watch and wonder what they are doing in there. My oldest has already felt this one move, but once the movement gets really strong like that, I'm excited for my youngest to feel and know that's the baby too. She keeps talking to my belly and saying, "mom the baby doesn't hear me". Lol.

My absolute favorite is the kicks and knowing she is responding to me! I also love the fact that I couldn't be more shocked and admittedly a little disappointed when i found out she wasn't a boy after being told she was. But getting a bunch of baby girl clothes from a family member has me so darn giddy I play with them every night. I am so excited and couldn't imagine not having a girl and that has been a fun discovery. I also agree with PP my niece is so in love with her cousin and it is so sweet how she always kisses and talks to my stomach .

Everything you listed, OP! I feel so lucky to be able to feel baby move inside me. I never wanted kids growing up, but I'm glad I changed my mind!

I have days where I think "Ok, I'm ready to be done" also! I love the belly, and having an excuse to eat French toast and spaghetti o's simultaneously!

I love feeling the baby (wish I could feel her more!) But I absolutely love how excited my husband is! I love when he wants to rub my belly and talk to her and he calls her his little princess now. I said "does that make me the queen?" lol

Definitely baby kicks and also I like the way I look pregnant (so far, and I reserve the right to take that statement back at any point in time haha!). I wasn't the skinniest person out there and I would constantly worry about love handles and tummy fat poking out of my jeans or a shirt that fit too tightly. I love wearing my bump proudly. It's nice to show it off instead of constantly trying to hid my stomach. Also, maternity clothing is awesome. I love it and it is so comfortable I may consider never going back to regular clothing.

I love SO's reaction to the whole thing. I teard up over his excitement at our first ultrasound when we got to see what looked like nothing more than a peanut wiggle. I also love when he talks to LO and he always makes sure to give the belly a kiss after giving me one.

I love feeling the baby and the feeling too that my little baby is always with me no matter where I go or what I do.

I am totally loving feeling the movement and wondering what our little munchkin is thinking or doing in there!! Seeing munchkin wiggle around in real time last night was absolutely amazing...i wonder if i could get an ultrasound machine for home and just watch allthe time LOL...

I too am embracing my bump and loving the attention i am getting from being pregnant.

Everything you said OP! I would add that I have pretty low self esteem most of the time, but when I'm pregnant I feel beautiful. My hair is shiny and soft, my acne is gone, and I just feel good about myself!

I agree, I love feeling her move!  It's still so new I question the feelings some times but there are others where I know for sure!

I've tried to get my husband to feel once but he was partially asleep and didn't notice.  Can't wait until he can feel her too, on a regular basis.

I was pondering this the other day and I think it's definitely feeling the baby move.  I love how he went crazy after I ate a bunch of cookies last night - I like to think he approved ;-)
