I love this idea! Anytime I find myself offended by baby and pregnancies complaints or constant updates on FB, the thought that rolls around in my mind is "don't they know some people can't have babies. Why don't they care." I think that if someone did what you explained then I would at least feel a bit validated. It won't work for everyone but it might for some. I'd love to come out during IF week, but the i'm just not sure I will. I do know that I'd say something about IF if I announce a BFP one day like you said. I had a friend do that recently after her IVF and I had no idea she was going through this. Turns out we are going to the same clinic and it was wonderful to talk to her about it. We would have never know that if she hadn't put something about it on FB.
Married October 2009. Me 29 H 28.
After 1 year of infertility, our little miracle was conceived via our 3rd IUI on May 5, 2013.
Holland Sophia was born Jan 24, 2014.
О Привязать! Z!
The ribbon would be a nice way to put it out there. Then if someone I wasn't comfortable taking to about it said something, I could say I was just showing support for a friend. But it could open the door for others who may be going through it to talk about it with me.

Here's a link from my status messages from last year: https://www.invisiblefinishline.blogspot.com/2012/04/awareness.html
To the person who said they were worried about people PMing or wanting specifics, I actually didn't have anything but positive PMs from people saying the love me, are proud of me, and are here for me if I need to talk. No one asked about specifics. You have to decide your boundaries - I'll be open about the fact that we're IF, but I will not disclose our exact diagnoses publicly in a place like FB. If someone PM'd me, I would say we each have diagnoses. I would not disclose my husband's counts out of respect for him. If you or anyone are considering coming "out" but have reservations or don't agree with your spouse, I'd highly recommend having a discussion with them about what you're each comfortable with and making some compromises.
