I'm there with you!!! I felt like I was counting down the minutes to nap time just so I could regain some sanity!
We've been going through a HUGE nap strike that I'm finally cracking down on. It's less CIO and more "talk so much that mom feels guilted into coming in the room to check on me."
I had a heck of a weekend with DD, and today wasn't much better. And DH has been working nonstop for days on end, so I'm pulling out my hair. A couple gals on my other BMB are going through the same thing with their kids. What the heck?!?!?!
There's something in the water, I swear!I had a heck of a weekend with DD, and today wasn't much better.nbsp; And DH has been working nonstop for days on end, so I'm pulling out my hair. A couple gals on my other BMB are going through the same thing with their kids. What the heck?!?!?!
Full moon coming? I have no clue but it must end now.
Nap strikes are the absolute worst! DD just moved to a twin bed and I thought we might have some nap issues with the transition but thankfully she has been doing really well.
I think there is Definitely something in the water though. I had two other friends text me this morning saying their toddlers were a mess and they just wanted it to be the end of the day!
I love being a SAHM but sometimes I wish I could trade places with DH for the day and let him deal with her
DD was like that all weekend! It didn't help we were stuck inside from friday to yesterday because of the snow. Finally I sent DH and DD out sledding yesterday just to get a bit of peace and quiet.

Oh thank goodness I'm not alone! This was seriously the weekend from hell. I started typing in the b!tchfest thread, but had to actually do work.
Saturday DD refused to take a nap. Like at all. DH wasn't home since he had to run out for work, so I was on my own. I put her in her crib and she'd stand there just going "mom...mom...momom...momom...MOM...MAMAMAMAMA". Holyshit girlfriend, take a nap. Then she was up three times between 8:45 and midnight, then again at 6:30. Finally woke up for the day around 8:15.
Same thing on Sunday, except DH wasn't having it. It took him 2.5 to get her down, but at least she finally got to sleep. At 4:00. And then only slept an hour. Oh it was a looooong weekend.
Not to scare you or anything, but IT NEVER ENDS. My child hasn't been a toddler in many years, and this still happens. Some days, I look forward to those "You're ruining my life get away from me!" sulking adolescent years where he decides he no longer wants to talk to us.

Haha exactly!! Our night sleep has been horrible too!

LOL
Same here. Either I need a nap too or I have tons of cleaning.
IKR? You don't get to reclaim these missed naps later in life, children. Enjoy them now!
