Too Many Follies?

Hi ladies,

 I was hoping to hear about some of your experiences with IUI.  Last month we tried Femara adn we thought there was a mature follie, but after I did the trigger the RE office called and said they made a mistake and it was a cyst, not a follie and all the follies were less than 9mm.

This month we are trying Femara + Injectables and still no follies over 7mm on cd10.  On top of that, there were over 18 on the right side.  They have not told me how they will move forward, but she was thinking they might put me on more injectables.

Has anyone here had so many follies and continued with injects?  I'm curious to see if any pulled away from the pack and grew to 15-20?

CD10 might be a little early to count yourself out - some cycles I didn't have any mature follicles until CD15.  Even though you have 15-20 follicles on one side, they shouldn't all grow to be mature, you should see a couple reach maturity unless you are way overstimulated. 

 

This past cycle I did Clomid 100 mg with 1 shot of Follistim 150 IU's.  I had 3 mature follicles, but maybe about 10 additional ones under 13mm.  My RE wants to reduce my  injectable amount next month because he thought my response was "too good."
