Any advice?

So baby g's cyst is getting smaller, but my cervix is getting shorter he is sotting right on top of it. Any advice on this...the dr put me on a gel progesterone. Told me to call my normal dr on Monday. The more I read the more I get worry about bring but on bedrest but I work at a desk job so would the dr even think about bedrest?

  • I have no advice but I was put on bed rest last pregnancy when I just sat at a desk... Sorry you're going through this and I hope you don't have to be put on bed rest but it does happen. Maybe try to relax and put your feet up as much as possible? I was put on bed rest because of blood pressure so I don't have any experience in what you're going through. Sorry!

  • FWIW, I have asked my OB what they do if they find that my cervix is shortening, and she said the only thing proven to help is the progesterone so it is good that you are on that. As for bedrest, she told me there isn't any evidence to show whether it helps or not but they do it just in case. Hope the progesterone does the trick! GL hon!
