I'm new. I have a parenting story and I'm in need of a drink. So I thought I'd come here
We're in the midst of potty training. It's been going really well.
Today not so much.
I picked him up from school and as we're walking to the door, he says, "I don't have to poop." I stopped. I asked him if he needed to sit on the potty. He told me no. We get out the front door, and I can smell it.
We go back inside and into the bathroom. Huge amounts of poop - everywhere. I mean, we've had accidents before, but not of this nature and not outside of the house. I was in my winter jacket in the small bathroom, trying to hold up his jacket and sweatshirt and wipe the poop from his legs and sweating what felt like profusely.
Is it okay to nix my plans of cleaning, and instead sit in front of the TV with wine and cereal?
Re: OMG. The poop.
YES! It gets everywhere and so fast. I want to take a shower.
I fully believe kids PTing shouldn't be allowed to get viruses. DS has had the azzpiss while in underwear; it was awful.
I know, right? It's just wrong because they don't fully understand that you can't wait until the last minute with the drizzles!!
No, that's an idea. Anytime it happens I try to figure out the best way to get the underwear off without getting poo all down his legs which would result in a bath.
I've done it if there isn't a lot of poop on his legs, but there is a point when a bath is necessary and easier.
Haha.
Does he scream, "Don't flush me mama! I promise I'll never shizzle my pants again!"?
How did you PT twins?
Tell me all your secrets.
Unable to even.

You don't understand the appeal of Benedict Cumberbatch / think he's fug / don't know who he is? WATCH SHERLOCK. Until you do, your negative opinion of him will not be taken seriously.
As I was taking chunks of poop off his legs with wipes in the school bathroom, I was REALLY REALLY kicking myself for getting him off diapers. I miss them. Horribly.
