With Carrington, all I can think of is the mortgage servicer Carrington because my office works with them. To me its like naming your kid FedEx or Nordstroms.
I want to preface my comments by saying that your names are really NMS. So you don't have to read any further if you don't want to.
Colton to me is very country. I also don't like the way it sounds, how people don't usually pronounce the "t" - it's like "col-un" or something...hard to describe. Jace is kind of a teen mom name to me...sorry.
Carrington sounds like someone who is trying to seem wealthy or high class but really isn't.
I really don't like either.Colton will get shortened to Colt, which is a gun or a beer.Carrington is a last name.nbsp; There's nothing feminine to me about it.Sorry.
This!

I probably would avoid Carrington and go with Caroline. Caroline goes with a lot of things, if you wanted to continue with the J middle names Jane goes with everything.

I think Colton Jace is fine, nms but I dont see anything wrong with it.
Sorry but I agree with many pp that Carrington is just bad, its a masculine last name and I do not think its pretty. How about Carrie, Cara, Caroline. If you do use Carrington, def a short feminine name like what has been suggested, like Jane.
Re: What do you think?
Love Colton but I don't like Jace.
Carrington is a mouthful.
Colton is fine, but Carrington is pretty lengthy. I just picture her as a poor kindergartener trying to write that all out.
That being said...if you go with Carrington I would find a one syllable middle name: Grace, Jane, etc.
Agreed. One syllable middle name for sure.

I have nothing nice to say about any of those names.
I agree that Carrington should be followed by a monosyllablic (2 syllable at the most), very feminine name - Rose, Eve, Leigh, Anne, Grace...

I'm not a fan of Colton or Carrington (or Jace).
If I was going to go with Carrington, I would choose a monosyllabic MN, like Mae.
Also a July 2013 Mom!
All of this.

This. Plus Carrington makes it sound like you picked your name based on a Dynasty character. It's super-wannabe sounding. Sorry, just being honest.
