A friend from work at another store came in to help out our store. When I went to get something out of the back room, she laughed a little and let me know that I'm now waddling. Lol. I didn't realize I was walking like that.
That means you are not using your lower back muscles, just kind of letting them go lax. Make sure you make a conscious effort to contract those muscles as much as you can. It will help strengthen your core which is ever so important right now as you continue to grow!

Probably not what you really want to hear but this is true.
I didn't think i was waddling but the other week one of my coworkers was like "what's wrong with you, are you walking with a limp?!" I was like "really, I feel fine but I am pregnant". he said "oh that explains it.".
Thanks?
I also saw a very pregnant woman getting her young son off the bus the other day. It was 20 degrees out and she was in flip flops and waddling badly as she tried to reach down to hold her son's hand. My husband saw her too and just looked at me and smirked...at least when my feet swell it will be warm enough to wear flip flops without looking crazy!
I don't think I do the traditional pregnant lady waddle, but I do walk weird because my sciatica is so severe sometimes. Apparently it looks kind of hilarious.
Today was the first day I noticed my waddle. I think its mostly because my back is hurting and especially my left hip and leg have been really sore.. I try not to walk with the waddle but sometimes it just starts.. lol.
Re: Waddle
I just let them know I'd rather waddle than piddle on myself. Sometimes waddling is the difference between making it to the bathroom and not.
Embrace the waddle!!
