Would it be totally cheesy to do a little slideshow of your DC through the years and show it at their party??? I've never done anything like this but thought it might be kind of neat....or cheesy, someone definitely tell me if that's the case!
Also, if I did do this, how would I get it to play on my TV or is that even possible? Sorry, I'm camera/electronics DUMB!
Re: Question about 2nd birthdays
We did that for Max's 1st birthday and everyone loved it. We didn't force anybody to watch it but it was on tv running throughout the party. We created and ordered it from www.onetruemedia.com and they send you a DVD with a pretty case with photos so that it can be played on tv. Otherwise, I think you'd have to burn it to a readable disc and not all DVD players will play those.
As a favor for the grandparents, we ordered them each a copy and gave it to them at the party. They're pretty reasonable and we have lots of grandparents so I think we got the "10 or more" pricing. They loved it so I vote for definitely not cheesy. Max is now 3 and still loves watching his "birthday movie." It's a great keepsake.
It's a fabulous idea!
