I was looking into the V-tech push walker but then came across an activity walker that you can put baby in and they can sit or push it around while in it with their feet....
Does anyone have one? I think in Canada they are forbidden due to safety. We have ceramic tile floors. Do you like yours, why or why not??

We have this. You can sit and ride it or push it and walk with it. Is this what you mean? I never had one of those enclosed walkers I didn't like those. With this toy you can push it til you don't want to anymore and my 12 month old loves it.

Really? Even the push walker?
the push walkers are fine. The enclosed walkers are dangerous, bad for the hips and my ped said something about them teaching babies to walk incorrectly, delaying development.

My son has the push walker. I took it to MILS where he is during the week because she has carpet. It will move too fast on my mostly hardwood floors.
He loves it and gets up and walks with it on his own. He gets very excited and squeals and all. The removeable activity tray is nice because his older cousin who is 20 months likes to play with it too so I think it should be good for a while.
I had this for DD, it was ok but she never got how to push and walk with it, I got DS the vtech one and he loves it, he looks so proud of himself as he walks around. I think with this ones the kids have to kind of walk between the wheel, the vtech one is alot easier to walk with. We also have a sit in walker, DS never really cared for it too much.

We just got L a push walker over the weekend because she was pushing her activity table all over the house. We have tile and wood floors through out but I found the Little Tikes Wide Tracker Activity Walker that you can adjust the speed of the wheels. I will say that the things connected to it that you can play with in the front are cheap. Like she pulls them off. But she loves walking with it and it doesn't go too fast.
