I was talking to my grandma today and she was mentioning some friends and it gave me some inspiration lol. My grandma is Charlotte her friends are Rosalie, Jean, Sarah, Betty, Mafaulda, Evangeline, Ruby, and a new one for me Thomasina. It is pronounced Tomahsinea. I thought that was pretty neat they called her Tommy.

This is actually not a bad idea if you are into "vintage" names-- ask your grandma!

Those are some nice names - maybe not Mafaulda lol. I have an aunt Mafalda nn Muffy - she's a million years old and hilarious.

My Nana played cards with her girlfriends for ages, Lil (Lillian) and Vinny (Vincenza) were my favorites.

I think Mafalda/Mafaulda is a Portuguese & Italian version of Matilda. I think it's neat!

I have a daughter named Betty Jean after my grandmother. I love those names. I like Greta, Scarlet, and Ruby as well.
