How's this for bad luck?
When I was 12 weeks pregnant with DS1 I lost my job. Today, 35 weeks
and 2 days pregnant with DS2, downsized again! What the frick! I'm a
high risk pregnancy any way so the stress is a nice touch. Pray for my
sanity. 2 kids and I've never gotten to have an actual maternity leave because I lose my job instead. I give up.

That def sucks! OMG! I'd probably lose my sanity. I know it may sound trite, but apply for all the government programs and help you can get (WIC, food stamps, etc.) Us who have worked hard and paid into these programs should def be able to get some help during our times of need. Hopefully you're also eligible for unemployment benefits as well. Good luck! Get some rest and try to relax.
