OB recommendations?

Hi! My name is Shannyn and I am originally from the East Bay and am now living in Arizona. We will be moving back next month and I'll be 24 weeks along January 1st. I was wondering if any of you lovelies had recommendations for good OBs in the Livermore/Pleasanton area. I really wanted to do a homebirth with a midwife, but our insurance won't cover it and we'd rather not spend that much money to have it if a hospital birth is covered. So since my only option is a hospital birth, I'd really like to have an OB that also values natural birth and wouldn't try to pressure me to induce unless medically necessary. I've heard good things about Dr. Michael Bleecker, who delivers at Valley Care, but I guess I wanted to hear what people in the area have to say?

    If she doesn't respond, page Celyn.  She's a wonderful resource from the trivalley/livermore area.  :)  (And lots of great advice for natural births.)

    I wish I could help but I'm delivering in Napa.  I'm sure someone will be able to give you a recommendation.

    When is your due date?  I'm due April 23rd - looks like our tickers are just about exactly the same!

    Yep April 23rd for us, too! We find out the sex on the 25th of this month and we couldn't be more anxious!

    We find out the sex the day before Thanksgiving, whatever that date is.  I can't wait too.  I have a feeling I'm having another boy, but hey, you never know!

    This is our first, and pretty much everyone has already decided it's a boy. But we really have no clue and we really couldn't care less. We jsut need to know!!! You find out the day after we do!
