I don't know what I'm having yet, but they are fraternal twins, so I would like to get an idea for any option. Either two boys, two girls, or one of each!
So far I like:
Two boys- Ezra John and Abraham Joseph. (I like biblical names, but I don't have to have biblical names. I just tend to like names that are. And hubby does NOT like Ezra or John, but I love them. He loves the other name so maybe he'll give me a freebie. He can't think of a second boy option, anyway.)
We used to like the name Ezekiel for a boy, but we both aren't in love with it anymore. I don't really like it much, at the moment.
Two girls- Eden and Violet. We originally had Eden picked out for our girl name, I think we will be going with Amelie for the middle name, (I posted that on here and not many of you like it, it was either that one or Noelle, but we are leaning closer to Amelie.) So, Eden Amelie and Violet ______. No idea.
One of each- We'd have to go with our two faves, Abraham Joseph and Eden Amelie. What do you think? Middle names are still not 100% but we like these the most out of what we can think of.
What do you think of our options? What would you suggest, or tweak?
I also love my name, which is Juliet, and would give mine as a middle name but I feel like is weird. I wouldn't want it to be after me, I just like my name...Bleh.
Oh and our current son is Elias James. Nick name is Eli.
I appreciate your help!!
Re: Twin name help!
I love both Violet and Juliet that is my older daughter's middle name.
Violet's middle name is Cecily
First things first, I love Elias like whoa. So good job there.
I actually like all these names a lot. Everything flows well and they're all really great, strong names. I see nothing wrong with using Juliet if you love it. Certainly not weird for a little girl to be named after her momma. But I don't think Violet Juliet flows very well. You'd have to do Eden Juliet and Violet Amelie.
Ezra - Like it, but I'd throw it out if your husband doesn't like it.
Abraham - Like it, but not with Joseph as MN. Abraham Seth?
Eden - Like it. I'm not loving the MN choice tho.
Violet - Love it, but does it really flow with Elias and Eden? I don't think so...
I love your name, too. I wouldn't use it as MN tho. That would be weird, IMO.
My suggestions...
BB: Caleb Seth and Levi John
GG: Eden Lark and Anna Wren
BG: Caleb Seth and Eden Faith
Wow, naming twins is so much harder! LOL.

All of this!
Is Amelie a name with special meaning to you, OP? I'm just wondering because it *might* cause hurt feelings if only one of the girls is named after Momma. KWIM?

I like all of your name choices
What about these names for the other MN you might need? Elise, Cecilia, Louise
I really like Ezra! Maybe you can convince him...if not, what about:
Adam
Benjamin
Caleb
Gabriel
I think Abraham and Gabriel sound good together!
As for a middle name for Violet, what about Eve?
Congratulations! I like your boys' names just fine as is. Elias, Ezra, and Abraham sound wonderful for brothers' names. I don't mind that two start with "e" (and one doesn't) since the e's make different sounds (long "e" for Elias, short "e" for Ezra). Plus, Elias and Abraham are both three syllables, and all the names are biblical, so they seem like a pretty well-matched set. Not too similar, but definitely well-coordinated. And all the middles start with J, which is kind of cute. (Since no one will really know their middles, it's not obnoxiously matchy.)
I notice with Elias, Eden, and Violet than two names have the long "e" sound and one doesn't. Those two names are also biblical, and one isn't. It's not a complete deal-breaker since Elias and Violet also share the long "i" sound, but it seems a little less ideal to me. I'm not sure if it bugs you, though -- if it doesn't, feel free to ignore what I said. And if Eden is your absolute favorite girls' name in the whole world (which it seems like it is at this point), it's not really worth giving up just because it's more similar to the brother's name than the twin's name. Are you open to considering other names for the sister? Elias, Eden, and Leah? Elias, Eden, and Sarai (though this rules out ever using Abraham)? Elias, Eden, and Ivy? Elias, Eden, and Keren? Elias, Eden, and Ziva? Violet is beautiful (and one of my favorite girls' names), so I don't really want to dissuade you from using it. Ooh, what about Elias James, Eden Noelle, and Amelie Juliet?
As far as middles go, Amelie, Noelle, and Juliet are all pretty. I don't think it's weird to give your daughter your name as a middle (especially if just one of the twins is a girl). If both twins are girls, I'd make sure the other has a special middle name, too: maybe your MIDDLE name, or maybe the first name of your sister, mother, or mother-in-law. Eden Juliet and Violet Noelle. Eden Juliet and Violet (insert-relative's-name-here).
If one is a boy and one is a girl, I think you have a good plan. Elias James, Abraham Joseph, and Eden Amelie. Elias, Eden, and Abraham seem a little more balanced than Elias, Eden, and Violet. Maybe it's because Abraham starts with a vowel, too, or maybe it's because Abraham is three syllables like Elias, or maybe it's just because Abraham Joseph has a J middle name like Elias James.
I love Ezra and I love Eden. (I also like Violet a lot, too.) I think you're doing awesome naming without any input from us.
