washing schedule ?

I apologize in advance for this stupid question but I tend to overthink things.  I wash my diapers every other day...is this considered 2 days or if I washed them the following morning be two days?  I would like to start washing every three days since I have more than enough diapers to do so but I also don't want them sitting for too long...

    Just start washing every 2.5 or 3 days and if you encounter issues go back to EOD.

    I wash EOD but sometimes go 3 and have no issues.

    I wash at night.

    Monday Wednesday, Friday.

    On the weekend I go 3 days before I wash.  But I usually use my prefolds and covers on the weekend.

    I wash EOD in the mornings. If I had another dozen prefolds I could go a little longer, but not much.
