We're finding out in a few weeks if we're having a girl or a boy, but H and I both just feel that we're having a girl. Our top boy names are Peter or Parks Benjamin.
My top girl names are Georgina, Penelope and Genevieve. H's top names are Misti, Ashley, Kimberly and Amber, but he really like A names.
Which of the following A names do you like the most? Other suggestions welcome! I can't get the poll to work, so here's the list:
Alison
Alexandra
Anastacia
Audrey
Audra
Anabelle
Annika
Re: "A" Girl Name Poll
Audra gets my vote from your list! Pretty and underused. I do like both Aubrey and Audrey but I consider them pretty popular in my eyes.

I like most of the names on your A list, particularly Alison and Alexandra (I personally prefer the spelling Allison).
IMHO, anything is better than Misti...very dated...
LOL, I know! It is like my H read a baby name book from the 1980s.

Is Anastacia too much like Russian royalty?
We both agree on all of these names, which makes me happy, because I wasn't sure how we would get to a decision when Georgina and Misti just seem so different.
I like the name Alina, but H isn't a fan.
Baby boy 7.10.13
It's no more Russian royalty than Alexandra (the Tzarina) or Marie (one of Anastasia's older sisters). I don't immediately think Romanov when I hear it.
I actually think of Stacy from the Babysitter's Club books, that was her full name.

I like Audrey, Audra, and Annika the best. Alison is nice too. Really none of those names are terrible.
And your H likes Misti? Really?
I dislike Annika.
I love Audrey.
I also love Allison and Anastasia, but spelled this way.
1. Annika
2. Alison
3. Anastacia
I'm not a fan of the rest.
Anastacia is so lovely, and you have plenty of NNs to pick from:
Ann
Ana
Stace
Stacey
Stacia
Out of your list, I like Audra the best (DH has an aunt named Audra, and it's a beautiful name).
As for additions to the list, what about Avery (I know some people really hate it on a girl, and it is somewhat popular, but I love it), or Anais (pronounced uh-nigh-es)?
This.
My goofy little blog
Annika, Audra, and Anastacia are my faves from the list. They seem to match the style of the girl names you like, too-- classy, dignified, but not ostentatious.
Good luck! I know how hard it is to negotiate names with a partner.

My DH loves A names and names that end in Y...so we named our DD Amy. We are stopped a lot about how pretty it is on a little girl.
