*Posted this in Sept 2012 board where I usually hang out but thought it was worth checking here, too.
We had DS 4 mo appt yesterday and his Pedi said he looked great, was growing great, and was developmentally on target. Woot! BUT, we are being referred to see a specialist because he has an oblong shaped head (it is a cute oblong shape though :P). She thinks this happened when he was in the womb. I wasn't surprised by this and actually brought it up because I want to be proactive in treatment if it necessary.
That being said, did you feel guilty over this? Part of me feels like I should have been able to prevent it. I know I have got to let that go, but it still comes up in my thoughts.
Also, if you LO has one of these corrective helmets, have you seen improvement? Does your LO seem to mind it? If we do get one, I am going to make sure it is super BA so at least DS can look back at pictures and think, "At least I had a friggin' sweet helmet."
