Advice: Postpartum & Showerheads

Just a bit of advice from a STM: Along with buying postpartum belly bands and considering your postpartum wardrobe, you might find it very useful to have a detachable showerhead handy as well. If you don't have one, it wouldn't be unreasonable to go buy a cheap one to switch out (or have DH switch out) for a few weeks so you can thoroughly clean "down there" postpartum. Lots of stores (such as Walmart) do have something you can quickly attach to the tub faucet and use in a similar fashion for about $10 if you don't want to be changing things around in your bathroom.

I didn't even think about that! I just ordered one the other day but I wanted it to make bathing baby easier. Glad it will be even more useful than expected!

FTM here, but our birth coach told us to get one because you can use it on a massage setting on your lower back in the early stages of labor. Another bonus! We got ours at BBB for $30.
