I was having some complications yesterday and the OB scheduled me for a limited OB ultrasound this morning mostly to check cervix, placentas, and ovaries. I did get quick look at the babies though! At 16 weeks, Baby A is breech and Baby B is above, kicking Baby A in the head!

I asked if they would take a quick peek in between the legs just for fun and the tech guessed two girls! Totally unexpected. My gut has been saying two boys. Good thing I have a few weeks to get adjusted to the idea before the anatomy scan in a few weeks.

Fun! My tech did a gender guess at the 16w u/s. She was pretty certain Baby A was a boy (though she said technically it was too early to say for sure "so don't go buying blue yet?) and thought B was a boy too but the cord was between his legs so she didn't want to say for sure. Obviously she was right about both. DH and I both really thought we were having one of each.

I'd pretty much disregarded the thought of having to come up two girl names. I've been debating boy names this whole time! Also, I was certain we'd get use out of DS's old clothes! Oh man, if it really is two girls then this pregnancy just got a lot more expensive! :-)
