And the "it's not fair" chorus plays again...

So yesterday I heard from an old coworker who I lost touch with. Of course she announced she is pregnant which did not surprise me because we had talked about it when we worked together. I mentioned that it was taking longer than we anticipated. She wrote back and asked if I had tried OPKs because once she used those she got pregnant right away. I didn't say anything else back but um I wish it was that easy! We have only been using stupid OPKs for 1 1/2 years!! But I guess I sort of set myself up for that one by not giving too much info.

 

Then this morning I found out my SIL is pregnant with her 2nd. Ironically I was sitting there reading my IVF protocol info at the time... Obviously happy for both people but it is so not fair how hard it is for some of us!

 

Ok vent over. Now to try to move on with my day... 

Me:30 low AMH; DH:30 MFI (count, motility, morphology)
2 rounds clomid 100 mg -BFN
IUI#1- 25 mg clomid- July 2012= BFN!
IUI #2 August = BFN!
IUI #3 September = BFN!

IVF #1 November - converted to IUI #4 due to poor response = BFN
IVF #1.2 February- converted to IUI #5 due to poor response = BFN
IVF #1.3 April- micro dose Lupron flare with HGH; 14R, 13M, 11F! Transfer of 1 day 5 blast on 4/30, 4 frosties. BFP! Beta #1 9dp5dt= 179; Beta #2 11dp5dt= 442; Beta #3 4106 Stick baby stick!!

    Sorry.  It's so hard to hear that stuff sometimes.  IF stinks.

    1st u/s 6/7 - measuring right on track at 7 weeks with 144 bpm!

    It is sooooo not fair!!! I have lots of pity parties for myself too but try to just remind myself that life just isn't fair! And lucky us got hit with the IF stick. You are entiltled to feel this way and vent.  Hope your day gets better! :)

     Me (34)- no issues found MH (36)- MFI due to Vericocele. Straight to IVF w/ICSI 9/12, Antagonist. 9R, 7M, 5F = BFN c/p,  New RE for IVF #2- 1/13., Long Lupron. ER on 1/22 -10R, 9M, 9F. Transfer on hold due to overstimming. FET in Feb. 2 frozen blasts. Another BFN & another c/p. RPL testing all negative besides MTHFR gene, vericocle repair surgery 4/12/13-Bilateral Grade 3 Vericocele found & fixed, IVF #3 with PGS  4/13- 11R, 9M, 9F. Transferred 2 normal=BFN, 3 normal on ice. CCRM-here we come! ODWU-All test results normal. EPP in August. 21R, 20M, 19F. 12 blasts biopsied & frozen for CCS testing. Results showed 11 normal! FET Oct. 30. 2 5d 4AA blasts transferred. First ever BFP!!! Beta 1=216, Beta 2=870 1st U/S=It's TWINS!!! It's a BOY and a GIRL!! Everyone Welcome!!!
