I really like botanical names. Some of my favorites are:
Lavender
Iris
Calla
Artemisia
Poppy
Clover
Hazel
Laurel
Azalea
Flora
Boys' botanicals are a little sparse, but I like Rowan and Basil (even if it's not really derived from the plant). I also like Huckleberry, though I'm not that brave.

agree, and my DD is Violet, so that is obviously my favorite
TTC #1 for over 5 years - too many to count IF treatments (tried everything and anything), repeat miscarriages.
Finally, Sticky Success!! B/G Twins arrived 2011.
I like Rose and Ivy too, but I also like Poppy and Violet. I think Clementine is a popular choice right now too, although I'm sure Clover and Primrose will be big in 2013 because of "The Hunger Games".
I forgot one of my favorite unusual ones earlier--Amaryllis, for a little girl. It's a large flower that symbolizes resurrection, if my memory isn't faulty, and it's really pretty. Plus, Amy is a good NN.

Baby Name Popularity by State
Rose is my middle name, long before it was trendy, so I'm incredibly biased. I love it as a first name!
I also really like Violet.
