Decrease in movement around 30 weeks?

Sorry - I know this gets asked every couple of days...

DD was moving around quite a bit yesterday but today I've felt her a little this morning and hardly at all this afternoon/eve.  I had my routine doc appt this afternoon and her hb was fine -- just curious to know if this means she's growing or just having a lazy day?  How long would you wait to call?

do a kick count and call if it's not reassuring.

Drink lots of cold water or OJ.  Lie on your left side.  If there aren't 10 movements in 1 hour, call your doc.  GL.

mine moves constantly... my tummy gets tight and uncomfortable but she does move alot.

i believe it's 10 kicks an hour. thats what my doctor told me. my friend had an incident where she says she didnt feel baby moving at all.. she went to L&D for check-up and the baby was fine. sometimes they arent as active.

Keep in mind the kind of movements you feel change - less direct kicking and more rolling (as baby runs out of room).  Plus depending on how baby is positioned, some days the movements may be fainter - so you have to pay closer attention to feel them.

I remember from PG #1 that towards the end, the baby moves less because it has less room to move!  In the last month or two, I mostly felt the baby having hiccups.
