NT Scan question

Bizarre question here:  I'm not sure where I got this but I feel like someone on here said that they could tell the sex of the baby at their NT Scan ultrasound (or the the tech conducting the scan could tell the sex).  I could be really wrong on this but I was just curious.

Some techs will make a guess, but I think that 16 weeks is the earliest they can say with any real certainty.

I had my NT u/s very late- a day or two before the deadline and the tech was sure it was a boy because there were certain markers missing. She was in fact right : )

I asked my tech this and she said it was way to early to tell. I was exactly 13weeks. I know others have had techs guess and be right but mine wouldn't and she acted like I was crazy for asking.

I hear differing accounts- I guess some techs will make a guess but it's just a guess.  I didn't even ask.  The NT scan is sooo much fun- baby has a lot of room to move around, and boy did mine ever!  Enjoy!
