No DH you don't...

I EBF so there is no point in DH getting up with E in the night and I really don't mind getting up with him.

Usually he sleeps through me getting up with E, but last night he heard E both times he woke up, plus me when I came back to bed.

This morning he told me he was woken up 4 times and now he knows what it's like for me to get up with him during the night....

Lol, sorry DH, it's not the same thing.

  • And one rough night is totally the same as getting up just about every night for the last four months. Yup.

  • Oh, H.

I went to H's work one day to visit with DD. Two of his employees made comments about DH's 'rough night' getting up with Hannah. And I was all 'dafuq?'

Apparently H thought that he had gotten up to feed her in the middle of the night, and it had taken an hour to get her back down. I had to inform him that he had actually gotten up with her at 6am. Sigh.

  • He finished the sentence with, "and I had to get up to go to work this morning..."

  • Ugh. I wish nothing more than to stick DH on overnights back when S was a newborn and me be a fly on the wall. They really just don't get it.

  • I was in the hospital for 3 nights last week and DH had DD all by himself and he let her sleep in the swing and she freaking STTN all 3 nights which she NEVER does with me. He still had the balls to tell me when I got home that now he knows how much I do. Oh my goodness.
  • We're going through the same thing for daytimes. DH is watching W for a few hours M-F while I go to classes and I can't wait for him to see what I go through during the day when he normally sleeps in. It's only been one week and he's already saying he's stressed out and he can't get his errands done because it's so hard to leave the house w/ the baby. And is finally starting realize how frustrating it is doing it by yourself all day when W doesn't nap. Yeah honey, welcome to reality, nice of you to join us!
