1st OB appt - What to expect?

I have my first OB appt this afternoon, and I'm curious as to what to expect. I know every OB is different so I'm just looking for what it was like in your case.

I'm assuming since I had u/s #4 with my RE 3 days ago that they'll probably forego that, but is it just bloodwork and peeing in a cup? Did yours talk about what will occur when? I'm hoping to get kind of a timeline of testing that's going to happen throughout the pregnancy.

My OB does a full exam on the first exam, starting with peeing in a cup.

Then it's like an annual plus an internal u/s.

I got a full exam including a PAP but I was also due for my yearly so I'm not sure if they do that otherwise. Peed in a cup, got an ultrasound, had a little bloodwork, and then chatted with the doctor. She did give me a timeline of everything, a run down of where she usually delivers, what to expect symptom wise and how to deal with it, etc.

Mine was pretty much the same. I wasn't expecting to see the baby again but it never gets old. We saw little fingers today. I'm also being referred to a MFM because of my Hashi's. I'm cool with that.

I'm curious to find out who you're using and what hospital you'll be delivering at but we can talk tomorrow. Speaking of, I will be there tomorrow. I wanted to go last week but with the bad weather and road closures, I just wanted to get home. See you then!
