Chocolate doesn't seem to be my friend

Is this happening to anyone? First off I am 10 weeks tomorrow. On Friday I had a chocolate shake and tonight a brownie I know, it was one of those weekends Both tasted good while I was eating them and then I don't feel to well after and suffer. This has to be the baby telling me no more chocolate.

  • It might have been the sudden rush of sugar not agreeing with you. I know that I have been craving candy, but if I eat it I always feel a little sick after. I don't know just my opinion

  • I used to eat chocolate every single day.  Since I got pregnant - and before I even knew - I have had no desire to eat it.  I have had some, but every time the same thing happens to me too.  I feel shaky, tired and sick.  I think it's either the sugar or the caffeine.  Either way, I guess it's a good thing.  Between not eating chocolate and not drinking wine I've freed up a good 300 calories a day by getting preggos :)  So think of it as a good thing!  I'm sure it will pass once the baby's born.  Even if it doesn't, that's probably not a bad thing.
  • I'm having the same problem!  So far the only real sweets I can handle are ice cream or those mini donuts (not that I've had a lot of either) but I have definitely found that I can't handle straight chocolate and the thought of a milkshake makes me gag!  I suppose this is a good thing.
