Oh Boy! Mat21 results in

Just got off the phone and all trisomy tests were negative. Phew! I'll be 38 at time of delivery so very happy with this news. And .... we're thrilled to be having a BOY!!
Yippee!!!

    Congrats! I'm doings mine on Wednesday. I can't wait till it's over. It's really cool though how far technology has come in the last few years.

    2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
    TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
    Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14

    I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

    I took my Mat21 on Monday and I can't wait for the results! I am hoping to hear all negatives as well, getting to know the sex is a great bonus. I'm am so thankful for this test. Once the results are in, I can just sit back and enjoy the rest of my pregnancy without worry. Good Luck to everyone!

    Yes they grab fetal DNA out of the maternal blood draw. Amazing technology!

    Congrats!  My clinic doesn't do Mat21, but some other early screen.  I am having mine done on 1/28.  Since I am not technically of AMA, my doc said she would leave it up to me, so I am going to go ahead and do it.

    It was five full business days. I took the test last Thurs afternoon. They said about a week and that's how it played out. Best of luck for the tests coming in quickly!

    Congrats! I wanted to get this test but my OB said I had to be at least 35 or older at time of delivery. I'll be 34 so a no go for me.... :(
