Calf Pain?

So, this pg is kicking my butt.

Does anyone have calf pain?  It hurts to walk in my calfs and makes it hard to get up the stairs.  I have never had it before, but just wondering.  I am going to ask my doctor when I see them in two weeks.

I had Charlie horses durin my first pregnancy. They're bad cramps that usually came at night. A lot of stretching and yoga helped ease the pain.

Are your calves cramping or is it maybe tendinitis?

I'm prone to charlie horses so I eat a banana every day. It works for me. Not sure if that's your problem or not though.

Just make sure you don't have any redness/swelling in the area.  Also, you can point your toes to your nose (up) if you feel a sharp pain, it could indicate a blood clot, especially if you have the other symptoms also.

It could also just be sore!  I would keep an eye on it and check with your doctor if you think it may be something serious.

I have been having the same thing!  So weird.  It feels muscular, like I worked out hard, and that definitely hasn't happened.  I have no idea what it is.

I used to wake up in the middle of the night with charlie horses when I was pg with DD, it was terrible. Like a pp said, water and potassium helps, eat some bananas!

You are drinking more and peeing more, chances are your potassium is low. You can get over the counter supplements, give them a try.
