NBR: Game of Thrones

DH and I watched 2 episodes tonight because I missed him and Chloe took a nap so I skipped cleaning. It's going to be our new series to watch straight through like we did with Weeds and SoA.

Anyway, it makes me mad that all the women in Game of Thrones are like stupidly beautiful and naked a lot. Boo. Oh well, new goal.

I am envious of you for watching it for the first time- GoT is just about my favorite show/series of books ever.

I bought the first book for my father for his birthday in April, and he just started reading it after I bought him the series on DVD. I recently got a call from my mother advising me that she thinks she actually sees my father more when he's out on the boat on a trip (he's a lobster fisherman)

I tried reading the first book while pregnant and couldn't get through the first page I was so confused, now I just ordered the first 4 for DH but I definitely don't have time to read them myself

I managed to read the first one while pregnant, though I was this close to having to take notes and make a character map. I bought the second one on my kindle and 20 pages in...forget it!

Haven't seen the series but i want to. DH and I don't agree on many tv shows, but I think that'd be up his alley.
