Felt sad for Taylor this morning.

As I was dropping her off at school, another mom and girl got out of there car.  Taylor gets excited and says "Mommy, that's my friend 'jane'.  That's my friend!  But she doesn't like me."

I asked her why and she said "I don't know, but she doesn't play with us.  So I  play with 'Jen', 'jill' and 'jess'." 

It made me so sad.  I hate that she has to feel like someone doesn't like her at a young age!  Can't we protect our kids from everything like this!!  (dramatic much).  Taylor is the type to be friends with EVERYONE. I can't believe girls are already clique-y and catty at the age of 4!!!!!!!

I would guess some of that probably stems from the parents...
