Re: My Stash

  • You'll want a small wet bag to put in your diaper bag for when you're out and about. I'd get a couple more snappies. I always find myself loosing them, leaving them up stairs when I'm changing DD down stairs, ect. You'll want more cloth wipes, too, espicially for the messy NB stage. Unless you get really good, figure 1-2 wipes per change.

  • My first thought when you said you were going to use wool during the NB stage was "don't".  The benefits of wool are it's breathability and the fact that it neutralizes urine over time.  During the NB stage they poop and pee so often that you really won't see the benefit of either of those things.  Plus cleaning poo off of wool is no fun, and NB poo just gets everywhere.

That being said, I've never used wool, so I could be wrong.  I just think your money might be better spent getting wool in a bigger size, and/or just getting more cheaper covers for NB.

I second PP that you'll want one or two small wetbags for the diaper bag & more wipes.  Also you'll eventually need more bigger diapers. Aim for around 24-30 to wash every other day once you get out of the NB stage.
