Finished BCP 5 days ago - Temps still high?

I was put on BCP for a 2 week period in an attempt to eliminate a functional ovarian cyst.  I noticed my temps were high on the BCP (98.3, where as I'm usually around 97.2), so I stopped temping.  I spotted the whole second week of taking the pill, and the spotting continued after stopping the pill for the past 5 days, but it's just more brown gook (sorry TMI).  I have an ultrasound scheduled for tomorrow to see the status of the cyst, but I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this experience with the pill re: temps?  Did your doctor make you wait until your temp dropped?

I would stop taking your temperature. When you under the care of an RE and getting monitoried, etc. there is no need whatsoever to continue to take your temps.

I don't have any experience temping on BCPs but I hope you get some answers.

I am still temping too, mostly because I want to see if my temps stay high after my normal LP. Gives me something to do.

I wouldn't even bother with your temp. Everything you do with your RE can mess your temps up and there's really no need now. I've had cysts and they went away. I spotted a lot with them.

For the curious reader who has a cyst and is concerned - I had a large cyst that occupied my entire left ovary and after 2 weeks on BCP, 6 days OFF bcp resulted in AF and an u/s today showed NO cyst!!! Ovaries clear! Sit tight - it will go away soon! :-)
