Nanny rates - downtown Boston

I am starting to research hourly rates for a nanny. We would need one Monday - Thursday for 9 hours each day. It's our first child, so it would be a newborn (3 months). Can anyone let me know what you are paying? Thanks for any help.

My SIL lives in Charlestown and pays $15/hour. I've heard the going rate is between $15-$20 and hour.

I work at a local nanny placement agency and the typical rate range we see for a full time live out nanny is from $15 to $20/hr (and some nannies requesting up to $25/hr).  Depending on the nanny's experience, education, job responsibilities, etc. Hope that helps!
