I really like Jeremy. It's not very common with this generation, but such a great name for a little boy.

Jeremy feels kind of dated to me. I like all the other boy names you listed much more (William and Benjamin are my favorite). And Nora is great too.

Our name for our first was William but I can't really get over the will and grace thing..
Jeremy I was thinking would be a nice way to honor a deceased family member Joseph David. Funny you suggested David as the middle name

My only concern w it is the nickname Jerry which I hate. Is remy wired?

We can't do j or jd because we have a Jay, joe, JJ in the family already.
And my best friends son is jack.

I'm on the other side of the fence about Jeremy. I have had a really bad association with this name so it is forever tainted to me.

I like Jeremy. I've never met one that was called Jerry. I know Jeremys with no nn, nn = Jere (prn Jair), nn = Jem (like Scout's brother in To Kill a Mockingbird), nn = Jay

Remy would be cute, but I've never met one.

I really like Jeremy! It happens to be my brothers name, Jeremy Scott. He has never been called Jerry or Remy though. A few of us call him Jer.

Jeremy is my least favorite, but I really like the rest of your list. I think Jeremy would fit as a MN with any of the other names.

Really don't like Jeremy. It's dated and screams 1980's to me. Also, kids often mispronounce it and say 'germy'.

Love Michael though! Michael Benjamin is a great name.

DS's name is Jeremy! This is the first I've seen it on this board so that makes me happy! It was the only name DH and I could agree on. I've always liked it since I was little. I love the fact that he's the only one in his DC and probably will be in his future classes in school.

Of course this would be my first choice out of your list, all the other names except for Matthew seem too popular and boring for my taste.

I don't think Jerry is a common nn for Jeremy either. I don't mind Jer though.

Nora is pretty too!
