Will you feel better by February???

Last night my husband asks me if I think I'll be over all the morning sickness by February. I told him that I hoped I would. He then points out how helpful he has been and how much he has helped around the house and bla bla bla. That's when he broke the news that he has already invited everyone over for a Super Bowl party. I feel kind of guilty because even though it doesn't bother me at all to have the party here, I pretended to be frustrated by the whole thing and he is now bending over backwards to keep the house clean and laundry done. He even brought me breakfast in bed!!! I've got 3 weeks till Super Bowl time!! I hope he keeps this up!!!

It's a tiny bit wrong to trick your DH, but he should have consulted you before committing to a super bowl party so he deserves it I didn't get over my m/s with DD until 16 weeks, you never know what's going to happen with that.

yeah, I'd be annoyed, not that he's having the party, but that he didn't ask you before inviting everyone over. Sooo yeah, he deserves it

My concern would be less getting the house in order but cooking for gameday! there's no way I can make our signature chicken wings this year!

He said I didn't have to worry about a thing!! He told everyone it was pot luck. He even asked me for this weeks grocery list and just left to the store. This is going to be the best 3 weeks EVER!!!

I was a bit frustrated that he invited 45 people to our house for a party and didn't ask first. That frustration quickly faded when he told me that it was pot luck, I wouldn't have to do a thing, and reminded me how fantastic he has been the past few weeks with me being so out of it. I'm not waving this party in his face, he just keeps offering to be fantastic and seriously, how does anyone pass up fantastic!! I'm riding this wave the entire 3 weeks. 45 people in my house for a football party......I deserve it!! Plus, he just mopped the floors!!

 This reminds me of when DH mentioned that he signed up to bring 6 dozen chocolate chip cookies to take to the office the next day.  I was almost 8 weeks and in my prime morning sickness phase.  It resulted in a long chat. He's been  a much more help around the house ever since!

I would tell DH he could have a party every weekend if he was cleaning the house and bringing me breakfast in bed! haha
