So my doctor called me in and told me he wanted to repeat a ultrasound. After the ultrasound the doctor had me wait to speak with him. He explained to me that I have something called a synchronic hemorrhage and put me on immediate bed rest. He told me that the body can absorb it, but it also leads to miscarriages. I'm asking everyone to please say a strong prayer for my baby and I.
Re: Scared!
Haven't had it myself, so I may have something wrong though.
I was diagnosed with an SCH at 6w3ds and put on modified bed rest.
Had a scan at 9w3ds and the tech said to put it right out of my head and that it had reabsorbed.
So although I know its scary to first learn about, there are many more positive outcomes than negative so try your best to remain optimistic.
There are several ladies on this board that have them, and there are several threads that discuss them if your looking for a little encouragement. They are actually quite common. I know the term subchorionic hemorrhage sounds really scary, and it can come with complications many women with them heal up in a few weeks and go on to have very healthy pregnancies.
I know how scary they can be though, mine has caused very heavy bleeding and I was convinced I was loosing my baby. ts & ps that yours heals up soon so you can rest easy! Take it easy and stay hydrated
