NBR: Vent

I live in a townhome community, attached to my unit is three others ajoined by laundry or storage units.

They "bombed" all of our letter buildings about a month ago. And it was such a PITA to prep for it.
Remove all food and anything in cabinets, pets, baby items, pet food ect. and cover/put on top of bed.

Well I was mad the first time bc we dont have anywhere to with our dogs for 3 hours but eventually they let us use the club house. Oh and H had to take the day off work to help me.

Now we just got notice they want to "bomb" every week for the next three weeks!!! Are you serious??? We have to do all this crap all over again??? Such a HUGE inconvience, and if they dont allow us to use the club house again, where are we supposed to go/do [we do not have a vehicle or I would go.to pet friendly places] .And H has to take off those days to help again.

Ugh.

And are all these chemicals ok for baby and I???

Re: NBR: Vent

  • I don't understand what you mean by bombed or what a letter building is???

  • Sorry, bombed for roaches/bugs. All lettered buildings such as all "A" units, because I guess if they just do one, then the bugs migrate to the other units and it creates a bigger problem.
  • Total pain and I have no idea if it is safe, but I guess if there is that big of a roach problem, I'd want them to do whatever required to fix the problem.

  • I called my OB last time, sadly they were not sure about it being safe, and I also called the pest company and they had no information either. Which is also fustrating. [guess I can re ask OB at tomorrows appointment]
The first go around seemed to solve the problem in my eyes, because we don't have the roach problem anymore... But I guess neighbors still do or maybe they didn't follow all instructions correctly??
I guess I'm just also not sure why they have to do it every week for the next three weeks when they tell us it can take up to 12 days to fix the problem.
