Swim Lessons

So I'm really excited to start swim lessons with LO! Our YMCA has one of those intro to the water type classes once a week for fairly cheap. She can start once 6 months so the next session starts beginning of March so she'll actually be 7 months. 

Do you think it'd be weird if both DH & I took her to the class? I don't even know if he would want to come but I think he will. I was just thinking we could take turns every week, but then I was like why not both go. Is that weird?

No, I don't think it is weird at all.  He may be the only dad there but I think it would something special.  My SO would be all over it.

Not at all, I plan to sign up for a Saturday so DH and I can both take her. I think it will be fun! We are going to do it at the Y as well. I can't wait!!

I don't think it's weird at all, but I will tell you it definitely depends on your location on how fun the class will be (and how much fun your DH may have lol).  My town's stinks because no one goes and the teacher really doesn't put any effort into it.  While my old YMCA (where I used to work), it was awesome and had a decent sized class. 

Anyways, I think it would be a huge help for getting ready before and after, cause I know it was hard for me and my 1 year old (and 18 months...I did it twice), let alone a 6 month old...but if he's getting in the water I guess that really won't make a difference lol

Not weird at all.  We plan on taking DS and never thought about bringing him myself.  That would be something we'd all do together.

I swim regularly and often see both parents at baby lessons. It's so cute to see how excited they are. And, you need someone to take the pictures, anyway.

Definitely not weird. DH and I still go to our oldest activities together if we are
both free.

I'm so bummed....I tried signing DD up for swim lessons but the day after registration opened it was already full!  We're the first on the waiting list for the session that starts at the end of February.  I've got my fingers crossed that one person backs out.  Otherwise we can't start until mid-April
