I had the same experience this morning! DH came up after feeding the dog and said, oh by the way I stuffed the clean diapers last night and just put them away.
I wrote down instructions and taped them to the top of my washer so DH would know how to do it. Last night I was at a friends house and I asked him to turn the dryer on and I got home and asked why all the diapers were still in the wash. He said "I didn't know what setting"
DH is only allowed to wash jeans, towels, or his own clothes. I've fished too many bras, sweaters, and ink pens out of the dryer to trust him with anything complicated as far as laundry. Plus, diaper laundry is my favorite, so I would be kinda bummed if he stole my favorite chore. (Now dishes, that's another story! He washed all of the dishes one day over Christmas break, and it was the best present ever!)
I wish my husband would do the cloth diaper laundry I asked.
I'm going to be traveling for 4 days in February and he has already decided to use disposables. Since I don't want to buy another huge box of disposables, I'm going to try to talk him into spraying the diapers on the 3rd day and I'll do the laundry when I get home.
However, he does help me stuff the diapers and fold the wipes which is always a big help.
Ohhhhh my. If my husband didn't do at least 75 percent of the laundry duty, I'd freak out. I'm breast feeding. It takes forever. He should be doing the lion's share of everything else! Fortunately, he feels the same way, lol.
