I know, I know, there was a post earlier. I don't want a gender reveal party. I just thought it'd be cute to let everyone know in a cute way. The only way I can think of is cupcakes with the icing colored in pink or blue. But I want something a little cooler than that but I can't think of anything. Any ideas?
Re: Gender reveal ideas
How are you going to announce? In person? Or in a picture? etc?
I was considering having a shirt made for my daughter with something about the gender to announce to all friends and family over facebook. My sorority sister did it with her daughter and some chalk boards ... really cute ... it was like a photo booth sequence.

Pinterest has some pretty awesome ideas:
1) Fill a chinese lantern with gender-colored confetti (held in by a piece of paper over the bottom hole, w/ a string attached). Pull during the party to display what color paper falls down, (cute!)
(2) Scratch off cards for guests (you can get them on Etsy).

You're planning early.
You need 10-13 weeks to ship? LOL
Oh geez! No one was being rude.
FWIW, if you are planning on throwing some sort of party it is weird for you to know the sex before your guests.
If you can't wait, you should just do an announcement instead of a party.
I agree!! I have seen so much attacking on this forum it makes me sick! Check out the my pregnancy app/birth club the woman seem to be a lot nicer on that one lol. Maybe it's all the hormones but I don't understand why some want to be rude! Congrats on your pregnancy!! And have fun with the gender reveal ideas! =D
If you do not like the boards and the honesty around here then, why are you still here? I just don't get it. There are plenty of other internet forums that blow unicorn farts up your butt, the bump is not one of them.
Oh boy! I don't understand why you want to be so nasty! Grow up...unicorn farts? Lol Oooh geeze, someone's hormones have her panties in a bunch!
You're going to tell me to grow up? Yet you are the one that cannot handle honesty? And you want to hang around these boards and b!tch about them instead of finding one you mesh with?
There is a big difference between being honest and being rude. You are rude. End of story.
Hun, if you can't handle little old me the bump as a whole is going to be hell for you.
That is absolutely lovely!
What difference does it make to you? Goodness. I am due 3 days before OP and I will find out the gender in 7 weeks. So maybe she will too.
It was rude. I've never seen a post where you say something kind or helpful, actually.

Never have I ever- heard of a "gender reveal party". And it sounds incredibly lame. Sorry
Also, is it just me, but I have never even thought to make this big a deal out of letting people know if I'm having a boy or a girl........if they want to know they will ask......
This all just seems so weird......
