I have done both. I must admit that buying it is a lot easier and more convenient.

Both here....if its a meal I want him to experience I babify it. Other than that I mostly buy. Plus Gerber sends coupons! ::smiles::

With Ds1 I made my own at first and then eventually started buying a jar here and there. Then at the end it was basically half and half. Its so much easier to buy it but I like knowing what exactly is in the food too so thats why I kept making it.

This time around I'll probably do both again.

I make 80% of her food.  I do buy the fruits in the pouches.  I think the brands are Ella's Kitchen and Plum  I haven't gotten the chance to experiment with fruit recipes yet and I'm not sure if I will.  Making the vegetables myself is fairly straightforward and easy.

Haha. I like this! It is hard enough to get the feedings in with everything else anyways.

I have been buying it.  I'm with the no time to make it momma's.  I always had the idea in my head that I would make it, but realistically it just doesn't work out for me.  We split the containers into 3 nights worth though to make sure there is no allergy.  Gerber does send coupons and I have found quite a few Beech Nut ones as well.

I make mine, but I SAH and have nothing else going on lol.

LO can eat half a mashed banana and still want to go strong. I feed her way more than I "should" but with the exception of apples she'll keep it all down, so I just go with it.

Nothing wrong with buying it! I'm sure when we get into meats and things I may start buying a jar here and there cause that'll be the more complicated meals that I'll screw up making!

Right now she gets gerber so I can make sure she doesn't have a reaction.  Once the food is ok, then I am making some.  I will still buy some though.
