Talk to me about nanny share

Has anyone tried this? Pros/cons? I'm not 100% in love with our in-home DCP, and I have a friend who is laying off her excellent nanny. I want to snap her up, but I'd really only be able to afford her long term if we shared the cost with another family.

We used to share with my sister... what would you like to know? Will you be hosting? Will the nanny be traveling between locations? Will the kids all be close in age, or spread out? How many kids will the nanny be watching? All of these will impact your experience.
