We found a traditional boy name we like! I see it's on most top 100 name lists, but I haven't heard it used very often in real life lately. Thoughts? Middle name ideas? Our last name is 2 syllables. Thanks!

LOVE Samuel! On my short list, for sure. I'm leaning towards Samuel Edward. Edward is a family nameand love how classic it sounds. Don't think either names will ever go out of style.

It would be on my short list except we plan to use the middle name Adam and I can't handle the Sam Adams beer connection.  Haha.

I love the name Samuel.  I know a couple of boys named Samuel, but I figure it's more common among my friends because we share similar tastes in names.  I'm not good at suggesting middle names because we use family names in that spot, but it would work well with a lot of names.

I have the same problem with Samuel that I have with August ? I love Sam (and Gus) so much, but am just lukewarm on the full names. They're perfectly fine, but I just can't get excited about them.

Samuel is a great name!  My friend just named her DS Samuel.  I like J middle names like Joseph, James and John.

I love Samuel so much!!!  I wanted to have Samuel James.  DH's XW named her daughter Samantha -- so although this child has no relation to us or LO, she is the sibling of SSs.  I was so mad.
