If you pay attention at 9secs and then for the following about 15-20 seconds...right when she popped the internal thing in you can see two sacs....both with what appear to be babies..a lower right sac and then an upper sac...and then she refocuses and you see the same upper sac but then a lower left sac ... is it just something with the US that makes it look like that or does it seem like there were 3 babies instead of just the 2 we focused on? is it possible to miss triplet? this was at 7 weeks and was my first scan
Re: Possible missed triplet or just ultrasound confusion?
I think I know what it is that you are looking at that you think could be a possible third. If it is what I am seeing also, I feel like that area is not as "defined" as the other two. It doesn't have clean round edges and isn't as clear in the middle. Not enough to possibly be a third baby. If any of that makes sense.
This is what my trips looked like when I had three still.

ETA: all three of mine were very easily visible at 7 weeks. That said, they were all small enough to fit into the screen together. As they get bigger, they can't all fit into the screen together.
Yeah, I see what you're talking about, but it doesn't look like another baby. I would just trust the u/s tech in this case.
Here's my 7w3d ultrasound when we found out. This is how big three babies in one sac would look.
