So, ummmm... How long did everyone bleed/spot after getting their Mirena in? I really need a light at the end of this ugly tunnel.
As the CP function seems to be on the fritz, I will happily accept one word answers.

How long have you had it in?
Maybe like 2 weeks? I also had a bad (but I am told rare) mirena experience, I kept it in about 7 months, and all of it sucked. Not bleeding, but my ute was contracting because it was irritated by it.
So... Do you have any random stabbing pains? Like when you move or touch your lower abdomen?
Since then I have very light to nonexistent periods which causes a lot of "am I pregnant?" anxiety. I have take several negative POAS tests. Also I get pregnancy symptoms like sore boobs, cramping, tired, moody etc. I got mirena in July/August and still not sure if I like it or not. But not having to take a daily pill or use condoms is a plus! Good luck!
"I will show you the kind of big sister I will be..."
Mention it to your doc. Mine wasnt inserted right. They put it through the wall of my uterus, and told me I was wimpy when I screamed. But they also can migrate. I spotted for a looooooong time before I got a doc to take me seriously. I had sharp pains regularly. It was miserable.
I spotted for a little while, maybe a week or so? But I have a similar problem with the pregnancy anxiety. Not having a period is awesome, but it messes with my head. I periodically POAS because I'm just not sure.
I spotted for a while, but only on an off. Maybe the first 3 months? I was still BF'ing though. Now I am going on 3 years with it and LOVE it. I haven't spotted or had a period since then. I am having it removed at the end of the month so we can TTC, but I am sad that my period-less days are coming to an end.
I also take a pregnancy test every month on the first just in case.
Talk to your doctor. The Mirena is awesome for a lot of people, and if it's not awesome for you maybe they can fix it for you.
That's awful! I said hell, but it was only because I had to constantly wear a pad or play russian roulette with my panties. I had no pains after the first day. Talk to your doctor for sure.
