AW: New Job!!!

It's not actually a new job per se but it's a different assignment with the same students. Until today I was a self contained exceptional education teacher, with two grades, one of which has to take state assessments and one that didn't. I had 15 students in my class with a part time assistant and a classroom the size of a matchbox. Not only was it uncomfortable and stressful I couldn't provide my students with the education they deserved. I was expected to teach twice the amount of information in half the amount of time to students who have been identified as not being able to grasp and process information at the same pace as other students. It was a set up for the kids and me too.

Well, today I got my own classroom and one grade level. And it's the one that doesn't test! I actually got through all of he subjects today!!! I'm AMPED!!!
