Is there a song that you just HAVE to dance to if you hear it? Is there a favorite dish that you just HAVE to get if you're out (or make at home when you hear about it?) What are some things that you just can't pass up?
Thick, homemade flour tortillas.
Chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream on the side.
Homemade buttermilk biscuits.
I have a love of good carbs that cannot & should not be denied.
These egg rolls my nail lady makes. OMG. Best egg rolls ever. I could eat them for breakfast.
gwinnygirl:
Oh, I thought of another. An aunt of one of H's
co-workers makes assorted homemade tamales & sells them by the
dozen one or twice a year. They f'ucking incredible.
OMG, I LURVE good home-made foods like this! I cannot pass it up either. ::drool::
Mine are mostly foods from Mexico. We go once a year and then I go all out. Esp the thick hand made flour tortillas. Hand dipped corn dogs. Mexican coke. The meat dhs mom cooks. Also, handmade potato chips and the big freezy pops the street vendors sell.
Lays original potato chips and fernch onion dip, just one more drink at bar time (once upon a time), one more episode when we're watching a whole season of something on the couch nights after DS is asleep, hitting snooze, taking the bait during internet fights even though I know better (I'm getting better at this though), one more kiss at bed time even if I'm clearly being manipulated by a toddler procrastinating bed time.
Ermergerhd! I lurve Fernch oniurn derp! Lol, sorry.
Ice cream ESP good ice cream. There is a store in Ohio called jeni's ice cream. Their ice cream is amazing! I bought 2 pints at 9.99 each the other day. It was worth every penny!
LOL, I just walked past a 50-something coworker's office; her radio was playing "Uptown Girl" by Billy Joel and I totally caught her chair-dancing to it.
My mom's homemade green chile burritos- They are so delicious people! It takes her all day to make the sauce from scratch. They are the bomb!
Any kind of fruit pie

I'll answer the first question. A song I just have to dance to....don't you dare judge me because it's totally awesome..."The Call" by the Backstreet Boys. Hot damn, that song gets me every.time.
Love that song!!!!
LOVE that song and anything by them! (Huge fan here) I can't resist going to one of their concerts- i once went to 2 in one summer.
I can't resist good cheese, good coffee, good desserts, and a lot of other things that people have already mentioned. I don't have any will power, but i can't resist my Zumba classes either. Been going for about a year and a half and i love it.
.....i can't resist Gangham Style.. my kids love that song and they love to sing and dance to it.
My mom makes a south indian dish called khow-say (I cant spell it) and I love it. I can eat that the whole next few days, but there's never enough leftovers for more than a day. And then there's haleem and nihari.
Sorry, no non food items I feel that strongly about.
