Ha! I was just reading this article. While sometimes people choose names for their kids that I would never use (and sometimes names I definitely side eye) I still can't imagine not allowing people to choose what name to use.
I heard about this on radio this morning!I think its a little crazy that you have to pick from a set list of names.nbsp; I don't agree with only being able to pick from a set list, even though I wish people would stop trying to be youneek andnbsp;use thesenbsp;crazy, ridiculous spellings.nbsp; I don't think we need a law, just more common sense here in the US!I tried to look for the list, but the websites aren't in English.nbsp; On Wikipedia I found that they even have an Icelandic Naming Committee.nbsp; Wow.nbsp; They are serious about names.
