I am interested in getting wool sometime, but never imagined I'd find wool pants at J.Crew!
I don't know how they would work as a cover, since they probably don't have extra wool in the wet zone. But I'm sure they can be lanolized.
Just thought I'd share.

Re: wool @ jcrew!
Couldn't get the link to work, even by cutting and pasting...
but 98$ MK said?!?!?!?!?!? you can get two pairs and a fitted for that!
I saw these the other day, so I thought the price was comparable. SBish wool is expensive too!
I thought custom wool longies were in the 50 to 60 dollar range? No? I haven't heard of them in the 30s. But then again I don't look at the ones made from sweaters, typically NMS.
You will find that CDing and frugality tend to go hand in hand, LOL! Those jcrew pants were cute, but I did a super quick search on etsy and found something almost exactly the same for $16. Here it is...

I have found that etsy has some very high quality stuff for a fraction of retail price.
Yeah, a lot of it depends on how you make it and the type of sweater/material you make it out of. An upcycled cashmere sweater is going to look nicer (imho) than an upcycled wool fisherman style sweater.
Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste,
It all revolves around you.
I'm definitely not a wooly snob, I haven't bought any wool! I'm scared to take that plunge. Mainly for my pocketbook! Hehe
And I'm about saving , I might have too many diapers but they were mostly all bought as seconds!
