Military Families
1st Baby Here!
Hi ladies! First time mom here. Very excited. I am due August 15th and have my first u/s on the 15th. I cannot wait!! I'm also a Coast Guard wife. I enjoy the military wife. However, now that I am pregnant with my first baby I have become very homesick and I'm feeling really overwhelmed with emotions. Knowing that my family is not around and that DH is only here every so many days seems like it will be really challenging for me

You can do it! And this board is always here to help. Check this board's FAQ for resources, start building yourself a support network, see what resources are offered on base - there are lots of places you can get support for the times when DH isn't home.
